• high absorbency : 1 L cob 8 chip can absorb up to 1 litre.
• virtually dust free
• no chemical treatment in any way
• ash at 800° C : 1.2 %
• loose bulk density: 350 to 450 g/l
• moisture content : 9 % maximum
• pH : 6

Determination of the grain dimension

Average size of particles : 2 mm - 3,15 mm
